Next Public Workshop – Saturday, January 30

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009

Mark your calendars — the next public workshop for the Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan is scheduled for Saturday, January 30 in the Garden Room at the Vet’s Memorial Building.

We had a good public turnout for the last public meeting, which was held in October and featured a presentation about the proposed pedestrian and bicycle network in Culver City, and a proposed loop to improve bicycle and pedestrian access between East Culver City/Expo Line and downtown Culver City. Participants had an opportunity to view maps, comment on the plans, and voice their opinions, concerns, wishes, suggestions, etc. for walking and biking in Culver City.

The January 30 workshop will focus on public comment on the proposed bicycle and pedestrian network for the city, and bicycle access between East Culver City/Expo Line. Watch the website for more information.

Please join us to help learn about this important issue, and to help share your ideas for building a strong and successful plan to improve bicycling and walking in Culver City!
